Scholarships
ESTC Indigenous Leaders Scholarship Recognizing the importance of innovative multi-stakeholder strategies for sustainable community and industry development, the Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism Conference (ESTC) aims to engage Native American and First Nation peoples as business leaders and environmental stewards in the sustainable growth of the tourism sector. In order to help provide opportunities for Indigenous community representatives to participate in the conference, TIES has set up the ESTC Indigenous Leaders Scholarship, a donation-based scholarship. We invite you to become a supporter of this important initiative by sponsoring an Indigenous leader to participate in the ESTC or by making a donation of any amount to TIES’ ESTC Indigenous Leaders Scholarship. ESTC Student Scholarship As part of our efforts to support students in ecotourism and sustainable tourism, TIES offers opportunities for current university and college students to participate in the networking and knowledge sharing experiences at the ESTC. The conference provides students with the opportunities to access first-hand knowledge of the latest developments in the industry, and gain practical skills. We encourage individuals and organizations interested in supporting educational initiatives in ecotourism and sustainable tourism to contribute to the ESTC Student Scholarship, by sponsoring a student or by making a donation of any amount to the scholarship.
