Educating Travelers and Professionals TIES is proud to offer a variety of educational platforms for students, professionals, and the traveling public. Through our workshops and forums addressing a wide range of issues and topics, we seek to increase awareness among stakeholders, promote professional development tools, provide networking opportunities, and help shape policy to mainstream sustainability in tourism. Public Forum: Traveling with Climate in Mind
TIES partnered with Sierra Club Washington DC to host a public forum on sustainable transportation and ecotourism, featuring expert speakers representing variouns industry and NGO segments.

The forum offered dynamic perspectives on conservation and cultural issues, highlighting case studies and best practice examples of Indigenous community business leaders in global ecotourism destinations. 
Attended by 30+ representatives from around the world and led by Annie Vanderwyk of Ngarrindjeri Nation, South Australia, the workshop explored various ways to utilize ecotourism as a vehicle for sustainable growth of Indigenous communities worldwide. 
ESTC 2010 Conference
