Eco-ScandinaviaScandinavians are known for their ecological consciousness. Some of the Scandinavian nations are leaders in renewable and alternative energy production (e.g. geothermal energy in Iceland, wind power in Denmark). For travelers seeking greener travel choices, certification and green label programs (such as Nature's Best, Ecotourism Norway, Green Keys) are there to help. |
