Why does TIES ask for my information?
TIES respects the privacy of all individuals who visit TIES website. TIES collects a limited amount of information on the site visitors' usage in order to improve the content and design of the site. The individual user will not be personally identified by TIES through the information collected from the site.
What information does TIES collect?
TIES collects the Internet addresses of visitors, time of access, browser type, and web pages visited on an aggregate basis. This information is used for internal review only and is not shared with third parties under any circumstances. The pages viewed by an individual visitor are not tracked. TIES also collects personal information of users registered through the site (e.g. members, newsletter subscribers and donors) and provide required information, such as name, address, phone number and email address. TIES reserves the right to send announcements and promotional information via email unless expressly requested otherwise. TIES emails are never sent unsolicited. Each email sent from TIES includes information on how to safely unsubscribe from mailing lists and/or update mailing preferences.
Does TIES use cookies?
TIES uses cookies to identify members. This allows members to access the member-only areas of the site and member-only download links without logging in to the site each time. In addition, TIES may use cookies in order to better target site users, and to promote TIES services and products effectively. A cookie generated by the site contains no information about the individual site visitor. If you wish to block cookies, please refer to the instructions on how to manage and update your browser settings.
Does TIES rent, share, sell or trade my information?
TIES does not rent, share, sell or trade personal information of site visitors, users, or subscribers under any circumstances.
How do I know my credit card information is secure?
Membership application, registration and donation forms used on TIES website are protected with SSL (secure socket layers), so that the information submitted through these forms cannot be read in transit. Furthermore, TIES works with vendors to secure all transactions according to industry standards using widely accepted methods of encryption and encoding. The financial information collected through the forms on TIES site will only be used to collect payment for the products and services purchased. Once the form is submitted and processed, the site does not store credit card information.
