The Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism Conference (ESTC) in September, with an exciting array of expert speakers from around the world, networking events and social functions, is a great way to expand your circles of industry colleagues and partners, as well as building knowledge of latest trends and best practice examples.


ESTC12 Keynote Speakers
The ESTC12 program features keynote presentations by Mr. Sydney Allicock, Community Tourism Pioneer from North Rupununi Region of Guyana; Mr. Trip Van Noppen, President of Earthjustice; and Ms. Amy Carter-James, Co-Founder of Guludo Beach Lodge and Nema Foundation in Mozambique.

ESTC Pre-Conference Workshop: Ecolodge Planning, Design and Operations
Building on the successful 2011 workshop on authentic ecolodges, this special workshop focuses on strategies for a financially viable and marketable ecolodge, and how to plan, design, operate and market an ecolodge, with an emphasis on creating a sense of place for the visitor and cultural and environmental interpretation.


Sustainable Culinary Showcase at the Monterey Bay Aquarium
The ESTC signature evening networking event, Sustainable Culinary Showcase features the best of local sustainable culinary experiences, with local music and drinks.
