Organized by TIES' local partners in Monterey, California, these field sessions (included in full-conference registration) highlight conservation initiatives, environmental stewardship and cultural heritage of the region.


From award-winning waste management facilities to the nation's leading marine research center, to hands-on activities such as tree planting and beach clean-up, you can choose from a variety of educational and interactive field sessions offered as part of the ESTC12 program.

Free Local Transportation for ESTC12 Delegates

During your stay in Monterey, you will have a green way to get around, thanks to Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST)! Each ESTC12 attendee will be offered a seven (7)-day MST pass to use throughout the duration of the conference.
