Ecotourism New Zealand Business Workshop, April 2012

Ecotourism New Zealand Business Workshop, April 2012

Ecotourism NZEcotourism NZ is a non-profit organisation run with support by Tai Poutini Polytechnic on the West Coast of the South Island and sponsors. Our objective is to support the development of quality nature-based experiences in New Zealand and encourage collaboration within the sector.

On April 18th – 19th 2012, Ecotourism NZ will deliver a workshop in Auckland at AUT to nature-based tourism operators in the North Island. The workshop will follow a similar event held in Greymouth 19 August 2011 attracting 50 operators and many more industry participants. It would be our pleasure therefore to invite you to this April workshop at AUT in Auckland.

The focus of the workshop is on improving performance and profitability of tourism businesses with sessions looking at improving interpretation/guiding skills, business and environmental sustainability and online and social media.

It is expected that the event will attract between 50 to 80 operators and people working in the tourism sector. Ecotourism NZ follows the principles to lead the industry in delivering sustainable tourism experiences and world class products. Ecotourism NZ's vision is to inspire the delivery of sustainable, world-class nature-based tourism experiences in New Zealand and we wish to form a partnership with your organisation to assist us to deliver this goal.
