The International Ecotourism Society and EplerWood International Give Global Access to Community and Tourism On-Line Learning

July 1, 2014, WASHINGTON, DC and BURLINGTON, VT - The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) and EplerWood International (EWI) have released their first Ecotourism Master Class, Tourism and Community Development: Tested Strategies for a Better Future, for instant replay.

By launching the Instant Replay series, TIES and EWI are reducing barriers for tourism professionals to have access to very current, affordable, field-based education and training not available in text or paper form.

The four-part course is composed of four 3 hour modules led by Peter Richards of Thailand, Judy Kepher-Gona of Kenya, Megan Epler Wood of the U.S. and Kurt Holle of Peru. The four lectures focus on achieving lasting community benefits, strong partnerships, vibrant supply chains, and local well-being.

The instant replay is available from July 1- September 30, 2014 with registration available on the TIES website. Anyone who either attended the live on-line version or purchases the instant replay version will receive a $50 credit for the next live webinar series, The Ecotourism Market: Selling Sustainability launching this fall.
