    Sustainability Practices

    Inkaterra is a Peruvian eco-luxury hotel organization that celebrates 37 years of experience in sustainable tourism initiatives. As a pioneer in Sustainable Tourism, Inkaterra promotes Scientific Research for the Conservation of Ecosystems and Natural Resources funded by Ecotourism, as a replicable model for local communities; offering authentic experiences, capturing, disseminating and educating about the culture and nature of Peru. Inkaterra has an alliance with the NGO Inkaterra Association (ITA) through which the company's supports research, conservation, educational and social development programs.

    In addition to the Tourism for Tomorrow nomination, since 2011 Inkaterra holds the Rainforest Alliance Verification in Sustainable Tourism, guaranteeing good practices in Responsible Tourism.

    Moreover, Inkaterra recently received the First International Certificate in Sustainable Tourism given by Control Union Green Choice Sustainable Tourism Standard. The Certification is granted based on sustainability concepts, the use of responsible practices, the conservation of biodiversity and the contribution to local communities.
