Sustainability Practices

We move under the theme of Eco tourism. We have initiated some sustainability practices. They are as follows: - We conduct all our trips without any disturbance to the local ecology. - We hire local guides and staff who have good knowledge of trekking trail, mountains and culture. - We prioritize on the consumption of local products e.g. vegetables, grains, fruits and dairy products. - We encourage our guests to respect local traditions and follow their normal formalities. - We suggest our guests to wear appropriate dresses. - We contribute 10% of our profit generated each trading year in the social activities. We mostly spend our money on reforestation efforts, educational programs and projects that strengthen the lifestyle of local people. - In camping trek we use kerosene for cooking purpose. We don't fire on open place. We always leave camp site clean. For maintain fragile mountain environment and promoting environmental awareness, we discourage use of fire wood for cooking foods. We do not use non biodegradable things like poly thin made stuff as far as possible. Every year we contribute some fond to social organizations who are working towards environment and promoting rural socioeconomic standards. We implement our commitment of Eco tourism in our every trip.Our guests see it directly when they do trip with us. Many of them gave us appreciation to our efforts. We are not working directly for conservation. Every year we contribute certain fund to social organizations who are actively working in it. We empower local people by using the hotels/ lodges operated and invested by villagers. We motivate our guests on the consumption of local products e.g. vegetables, grains, fruits and dairy products in stead of imported food. We are fully aware of sensitivity of political, environmental and social climate. We request our guests do not debate on politics. We motivate them to wear dresses which are friendly with local culture. We discourage them to use and buy such items which impact to local environment.
