About Us
Travelers chose Dittmar Adventures because we ensure one of a kind expedition in Patagonia.
Dittmar Adventures was founded in 2008 with a need for allowing explorers to customize their adventure to suit their specific needs. Operators so frequently sell one standard itinerary, but we get to know our clients in order to tailor the trip to their activity, budget and adventurous spirit.
You can choose from day hikes, trekking, cycling, mountaineering or kayaking expeditions in Torres del Paine National Park, Los Glaciares National Park, and along the Carretera Austral.
Our guides love the places they explore. We hire local English speaking guides who know the area and are able to show you the wilderness while providing safety, comfort and enjoyable trips. Each of our guides is certified by an association of trekking or mountain guides, has taken and passed wilderness rescue courses and also has over five years of experience guiding in Patagonia.
Sustainability Practices
Furthermore, we operate with a goal to maintain and improve the environments we explore. We push to conserve nature by contributing to recycling and beautification programs in Patagonia. We have made being green a way of life, because respecting and caring for the earth ensures that the things we love will be here for centuries to enjoy.
On our tours you will always see our staff cleaning up after themselves, their clients and other tourists. They love the areas that they work in and want to maintain their pristine natural aspects for many years. They teach clients how to properly dispose of the garbage and are role models for others on the trails.
